This volcano has been giving constant eruptions since 1996. Scientists estimate that the amount of lava erupting from the volcano in 250,000 years will be enough to form the ninth island of the Hawaiian archipelago. Today, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions. The total area of the park is about 1000 km², where tourists can see firsthand all the power, strength and energy of volcanoes, as well as unique and picturesque landscapes.
