The unique, timeless beauty of the cliffs is captured in fantastic images that Nature herself has engraved on the canyon slopes. As you descend deeper, the living history of the Earth unfolds before you. The grandiose rock formations, millions of years old, will lead you in awe and admiration, as will the land of the Colorado River, home to the distinctive Hualapau indigenous culture that survives to this day.
In East Canyon, about one hour from Las Vegas is a unique tourist attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk - the "skywalk." This is a bridge with a glass floor built directly over the canyon, allowing tourists to feel what it means to walk through the air at an altitude of 1200 meters! The transparent floor of the bridge is 10 cm thick and its entire open glass structure gives you the opportunity to "step from the edge of the Grand Canyon" and take a bird's-eye view of this amazing wonder of nature.
Many excursions and tours from Las Vegas to the National Park are organized: by car with a Russian guide, by helicopter and airplane, with a descent to the bottom of the canyon and a cruise on the Colorado River, with a picnic, meeting the dawn and visiting Indian settlements. Wedding ceremonies are organized for newlyweds.
