Museum of Jewish Culture - tour

  The Museum of Jewish Culture, located in New York City, is one of the largest and most significant museums in the world devoted to the study of the diversity of Jewish culture. The museum was founded in 1904 in the library of the Jewish Theological Seminary, where it existed for four decades until 1944 when Frieda Schiff Warburg, widow of the famous businessman and seminary board member, Felix Warburg, donated her mansion to the museum. Hours of operation: Sunday - Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.; Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday off.
